Before pitching your idea, be sure to familiarize yourself with our focus (North American conservation) and mission (emphasis on “honest, holistic and nonpartisan perspective”), values, content and style as all stories must reflect these. You don’t have to be a professional writer to be considered, but great writing skills are definitely a plus.
